How was the real Japan?
It was a valuable experience that was uniquely Japanese. I felt as if my heart was washed away. I would like to take it again next time.
I was very satisfied with this truly Japanese experience. I was amazed to see people wearing traditional costumes, beating drums, and dancing right in front of me. The shrine maidens were so beautiful.
I was surprised to find such a uniquely Japanese experience in Tokyo. It was very solemn and heart-rending. It was too bad I couldn't take pictures, but it was in front of God, so I guess it was inevitable. I would like to experience other shrines as well.
